These are some resources that we have collected to help you to help your child to improve their speech, language, and reading skills. There are many other resources that we will add to this list from time to time so check back frequently.

Speech and Language Resources

Apraxia Kids - dedicated to providing high-quality evidence-based information about diagnosis and treatment of childhood apraxia of speech. Check out the comprehensive article library with content explaining the nature of the disorder, treatment, education and school issues, advocating for your child, and additional resources.

The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) -- the national professional, scientific, and credentialing association for members and affiliates who are audiologists; speech-language pathologists; speech, language, and hearing scientists; audiology and speech-language pathology support personnel; and students.

Yale Center for Dyslexia and Creativity -- This website has extensive resources from experts to support parents, stories from other parents, and tools to help set your child on the best possible path.

Orton-Gillingham Academy -- Has some great resources for parents

Lindamood-Bell teaches children and adults reading and comprehension. Reading Resources

Brain-Friendly Reading -- focused on training parents, teachers, and schools how to utilize brain-friendly strategies for reading, spelling and handwriting to educate all children including those who struggle with dyslexia.

Really Great Reading® -- specializes in helping educators teach the foundational skills that lead to strong decoding and fluent reading. Provides scientifically aligned professional development, diagnostics, grouping, interventions, and preventions.

University of Florida Literacy Institute -- Check out the parent resource hub, a collection of web-based language and literacy resources compiled and curated by UFLI faculty and graduate students
